Global organisations tend to utilize management structures that are heavily matrixed. This offers maximum flexibility for project delivery, but it also generates challenges for the project manager, who can no longer manage by control, but must manage by influence. How can a project manager, who may have little authority in the organisation, develop the influencing skills necessary to deliver his/her project?
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
(1) apply techniques that will influence change in their own working environment;
(2) practice techniques that influence personal performance.
