Study on mapping opportunities and challenges for micro and small enterprises in offering their employees up- or re- skilling opportunities

The Centre for European and Policy Studies (CEPS) is seeking help gather information on education and training in small and micro companies in Ireland. The research they are undertaking will enable improved strategic decision making in this area at a European level.

The CEPS has been commissioned by the European Commission (EC) to undertake a study to map the opportunities and challenges for micro (1-9 employees) and small (10-49 employees) enterprises in offering their employees up- or re- skilling opportunities. As part of this study CEPS are conducting an anonymous survey of micro and small enterprises. Ultimately, the results from this survey will help inform better targeted and more effective policies and strategies aimed at improving lifelong learning opportunities for those employed by small and micro enterprises.
