Waterford Chamber Skillnet are now Expressions of Interest for this ESF + Programme, a flagship executive experience for senior leaders in the South-East. This ESF + programme brings together a select group of leaders who are shaping organisations, creating employment and driving growth across the region. Senior leadership today demands more than technical expertise. It requires judgement under pressure, the ability to lead people through change and the presence to influence at critical moments.

Brought to you by Waterford Chamber Skillnet and Carlow Kilkenny Skillnet, this ESF+ funded “Executive Leadership Regional Leaders Retreat” is a curated, high-impact executive experience designed to give senior leaders in the South-East the space and perspective to strengthen how you lead, individually and organisationally.

This programme goes beyond training – it is a structured leadership experience designed to strengthen how you think, decide and lead.

Who it is for?

This programme has been designed for senior people leaders across the South-East, including:

  • Owner-managers and founders of growing businesses
  • Senior functional leaders and department heads
  • Experienced managers with responsibility for teams and performance
  • Leaders operating in complex, fast-moving or changing environments

ESF + Programme details

Format: 2-day residential retreat + follow on coaching + capstone event.

Retreat Location: Mount Juliet Co Kilkenny

Retreat Dates: Sept 24th and 25th

ESF + Funding:

  • The cost per person to attend this 2 day residential retreat is €3500 pp.
  • However, with ESF+ funding the price has been highly subsidised reducing the cost per person to €1000 pp

 

The Experience

The programme is designed as a structured leadership journey, centred on an immersive retreat experience:

 Immersive Retreat

A two-day residential retreat focused on:

  • Leadership presence, influence and narrative
  • Strategic clarity and decision-making
  • Leading people and organisations through change
  • Real challenges brought by participants

 Executive Coaching

One-to-one coaching to:

  • Reflect, challenge and refine leadership practice
  • Translate insight into action
  • Embed learning into day-to-day leadership

Capstone Event

A follow-up session where participants:

  • Consolidate learning
  • Commit to next-stage leadership actions
  • Celebrate successes and receive your certification

Ronan is a seasoned organisational behaviour consultant and executive coach who challenges senior leaders to think differently about systemic change, workforce transformation, and leadership impact and development.

With deep experience in financial services, hospitality, and retail, spanning roles in industrial relations, change management and strategic HR, he has led organisations through large-scale workforce transitions, including restructuring for efficiency, scaling for growth, complex digital transformation and merger and acquisition integration.

A former executive team insider, Ronan brings sharp insight to critical moments, helping leaders cut through complexity and deliver results.

 Paul Healy

Partner Futurus

Paul’s experience spans business transformation, organisational development and public affairs—partnering with industry leaders and government to build high-performing teams, lead positive change and drive system level reforms.

Formerly as Chief Executive of Skillnet Ireland, Paul led the transformation of the State’s workforce development agency, establishing it as a cornerstone of Ireland’s enterprise strategy.

Previously Paul held executive leadership positions in HR and Organisation Development in the financial services sector, leading critical transformations and restructures.
