The Art of Effective Management: One Day People Management Programme

Course Overview:

This 1-Day Management course has been designed for new managers to examine the key aspects of managing people and provide practical guidance on how to be confident and take a holistic approach to improving team performance.  The course is highly interactive and utilises real life insights and practical everyday business examples. Course topics include managing different personality styles, communicating effectively, the dynamics of teams, factors involved in building a strong team, and conflict management.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course each learner will be able to:

• Understand what is required of you as a manager
• Use effective skills for leading, managing and motivating a team
• Manage different personalities and encourage mutual respect and cooperation from all team members
• Improve the process of addressing and resolving issues
• Resolve conflict and deal with difficult people and situations confidently and positively
• Have a personal action plan to apply learning back on the job
