CPD Certificate in Professional Engineering (NFQ Level 9, 5 ECTS)

Funding Expression of Interest: 

• Expressions of Interest are now being taken for Engineers Ireland Online CPD Certificate in Professional Engineering (NFQ Level 9, 5 ECTS) which will run from November 2026 to April 2027.
• Waterford Chamber Skillnet will be supporting this programme by offering 30% funding to eligible candidates / companies.
• With Waterford Chamber Skillnet funding the cost to participate in this programme will be €1155.00pp (full cost without funding will be €1650pp).
• Successful candidates will be invoiced €1155.00pp by Waterford Chamber Skillnet once funding has been confirmed and space offered by Engineers Ireland.

Important Information about this Programme;

1. This portal is to express interest in Waterford Chamber Skillnet Part-funding towards this course.
2. Funded spaces are limited, and will be awarded in order of application on a first come first serve basis to eligible businesses/Employed Trainees (please see https://waterfordskillnet.ie/faq/ for funding information).
3. Once your space has been confirmed by Engineers Ireland and you meet Waterford Chamber Skillnet eligibility criteria, your company will be directly invoiced for payment (€1155.00pp with funding from Waterford Chamber Skillnet).
4. In order to apply for funding you must also meet the Engineers Ireland course requirements.
