We are delighted to host Stephen Barnes from WIT’s Walton Institute who on April 26th will deliver a free online webinar on:

“An introduction to the use of AR/VR applications in Industry”

The Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) market has grown substantially in recent years, registering a compound annual growth rate of 40.7%. Although its initial success has been in gaming and entertainment, there has been a swift uptake in the use of AR/VR technology as a highly engaging and effective tool in other industries. This has especially become pronounced for remote working where AR/VR can provide immersive and intuitive experiences to enhance communication as well as skill sharing and training. This immersive technology has also been adopted for data visualization purposes by numerous industrial sectors from Architecture Engineering and Construction to Health, Retail to Real Estate.

This session will provide a brief introduction to AR/VR concepts and technologies, as well as detailing how it is currently being used in various industrial sectors. This can provide insight into how AR/VR could be utilised by participants’ for addressing their business needs.
