Description of the Learning Process

Students will engage with online and offline learning resources, participate in group discussion and independent reading & current research.

All the modules are 8 hours of self-directed learning, 8 hours of live teaching and a practice based assessment that will form part of the candidates work.

• Credits: 2 ECTS – Microcredential from South East Technical University (SETU)
• Credits: 2 ECTS
• Encompasses lectures, complementary reading and video materials, and independent self-directed learning (8 Hours per module).

The 2 ECTS microcredentials are pitched at a level 6 from the national qualifications framework. Learners who participate in the microcredentials will have the knowledge to complete their newly appointed Job role.

Programme Overview 

Negotiations and People Skills  – Navigating Internal Politics (Microcredential)

Negotiations and people skills are necessary in everyday business affairs. Being able to effectively negotiate while also having the necessary people skills is a skill that needs to be developed over time. This module aids the learner to develop themselves and to understand key theories that are beneficial to them as the progress within their job role. It introduces the leaner to the fundamentals of negotiations while also gaining an understanding of their own personality and motivations. The learner is assessed by engaging in a team role play.
