EVENT Overview

We’ve all felt it: that quiet voice suggesting we don’t quite belong, that our success is down to luck or that any moment now, someone will “figure us out.” For many women stepping into leadership, that voice can feel especially loud.

Join us on October 22nd for an informative and insightful hour-long session offering a supportive, practical space to name impostor syndrome for what it is and to start loosening its grip. We’ll explore where these feelings come from, why they show up so often for women in leadership and how to build a more grounded, confident relationship with your own capability. No lectures, no judgment; just honest conversation and tools you can start using right away.

By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Recognise the thought patterns and moments that tend to trigger self-doubt
  • Understand why impostor syndrome shows up so persistently for women in leadership and that you’re not alone in it
  • Try out simple, practical techniques for reframing self-doubt in the moment
  • Start building your own “confidence toolkit” to lean on before big moments presentations, promotions, negotiations
  • Leave with a few concrete, doable next steps for leading with more ease and self-trust.

Meet Your Trainer:

Jean Evans of Advancia brings 25 years of experience across the private, semi-state, and international corporate world to this session, alongside her own coaching practice built on a genuine understanding of what holds people back. A qualified Life, Business & Executive Coach and DiSC practitioner, Jean has spent years helping individuals recognise their own value and step forward with more confidence; often after doing exactly that herself. As a self-described introvert and a former queen of imposter syndrome who once found professional visibility daunting, she brings real, lived insight into the doubts many women carry into leadership and a practical, no-nonsense approach to working through them.
