Course overview

Aim

This QQI6 Training Delivery & Evaluation programme aims to equip learners with the critical skills, knowledge and behaviours to the deliver and evaluate highly participatory, learner centred and varied training programmes to groups and individuals in accordance with international best practice.

Objectives

At the end of the programme learners will be able to

  • Understand different learning styles and prepare accordingly
  • Review and assess experiential learning and highly participatory training techniques
  • Deliver facilitated group training sessions and/or training on a 1:2:1 basis
  • Work effectively with a range of learner groups and personalities
  • Design, deliver and evaluate a training programme effectively
  • Assess their ‘comfort zone’ when delivering training and the impact it has on learners

  • Unit 1 Theories of Experiential Training and Adult Learning
  • Unit 2 The Role of The Trainer/Facilitator
  • Unit 3 Preparing for Delivery
  • Unit 4 Delivery & Assessment
  • Unit 5 Evaluation of Training

 

Programme Assessment

Written Project & Formal Input – 40 marks (40%)

Skills Demonstration/Facilitated Session – 40 Marks (40%)

Learner Record – 20 marks (20%)

  1. Day One – Tuesday 17 February
  2. Day Two – Tuesday 24 February
  3. Day Three – Tuesday 03 March
  4. Day Four – Tuesday10 March
  5. Day Five – Thursday 19 March

Programme Times:

  • 9.30am-4.30pm each day

  • €595pp inc certificate (QQI6 Training Delivery & Evaluation Module Code: 6N3326) (available to companies based in Ireland)
