EVENT Overview

Waterford Chamber Skillnet in collaboration with learning waves skillnet, positive 2 work skillnet and Carlow Kilkenny skillnet invite you to join us for this free event to celebrate International Men’s Day 2025.

PJ Gallagher is a well-known Irish comedian, TV personality, podcaster, and radio host, celebrated for his engaging humour. He first gained widespread recognition with his hit television series “Naked Camera,” where his hilarious hidden-camera antics and memorable characters endeared him to audiences. In addition to his television work, PJ has made a significant impact on the airwaves as a radio host on popular shows like “PJ and Jim in the Morning.”

He has been candid about his struggles with depression and anxiety, using his platform to break down stigmas and encourage open conversations about mental health. PJ experienced a significant mental health breakdown in 2021, which led to his hospitalisation and subsequent recovery journey. PJ created a television show titled “PJ Gallagher: Mad Man,” which aired in 2022. The show is a deeply personal documentary that chronicles his mental health journey, from the depths of his breakdown to his road to recovery. “Mad Man” delves into the factors that contributed to his mental health crisis, his experiences in the hospital, and the strategies he employed to rebuild his life.
