Course Overview:
This half day workshop will guide new leaders through the benefits of situational leadership, while helping experienced leaders to improve their use of it. The workshop will delve into how you as a leader can adjust your leadership style to team members’ skill and experience levels to build strong teams. Participants will learn why different approaches are needed in different situations and practice using them.
Course Outcomes:
Participants that attend this module will:
- have a clear understanding about situational leadership style,
- be aware of the characteristics of team members’ readiness level (enthusiastic beginner, disillusioned learner, cautious performer, self-reliant achiever),
- be able to apply a flexible leadership style to given circumstances and team members.
